How to find a football agent.

A practical guide to researching representation, presenting your football clearly and making a considered first approach.

By TOUCHLINE Radar · Updated 15 October 2026

1. Start with your playing situation

Write down your current club or playing level, primary position, preferred foot and the markets you can realistically consider. Your priorities may include a first professional contract, a move between leagues or support negotiating an existing opportunity. An agent's experience should fit that situation.

A country filter helps organise the search. An agent's registration country or an agency's office location does not by itself tell you which leagues they work in or which players they are seeking.

2. Research the person behind the listing

Check the individual's current licensing status with FIFA and the relevant association before discussing representation. Review their own published business information, named team members and player work. Compare claims across official sources rather than relying on a badge, a message or an old directory entry alone.

TOUCHLINE Radar is an independent discovery platform. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FIFA. An agency is a business; its inclusion does not certify every person who works there.

Visit FIFA's Football Agent Platform for official agent resources.

3. Prepare a concise player CV and highlights

Make your position, current club, playing history and contact route easy to find. Link to your Transfermarkt profile if you have one, and use a working highlights link. Identify yourself clearly in video footage and give enough context for someone to assess your role on the pitch.

Your TOUCHLINE Radar profile saves your nationality, position, club, preferred foot, height, football links and player summary. You can attach up to three PDFs, with a 5 MB limit per file and an 8 MB total limit. Every saved PDF is attached to each introduction you choose to send, so check the files first.

4. How to contact a football agent

Open with your name, position and current playing situation. Explain why you are approaching that representative, then include a clear highlights link and a short account of your experience. Keep factual claims accurate and avoid sending a long list of unrelated attachments.

A useful structure for your football agent email
  1. Who you are and where you currently play.
  2. Your position, relevant experience and what you are looking for.
  3. Why this agent or agency could be a fit.
  4. A highlights link, player profile and concise PDF CV.
  5. A simple invitation to discuss whether there is a fit.

Whether you call it a football CV, soccer resume or player profile, the purpose is to give someone a clear view of your game. If you are unattached or looking for a new team, prepare your club search before writing.

5. Choose how you want to make contact

An introduction costs $0.50 USD per selected destination. TOUCHLINE Radar sends your saved player profile, edited message and uploaded PDFs; replies go to your registered email. Only one successful introduction per player is allowed to the same recorded destination.

If you prefer direct contact, a separate contact credit reveals the published email and any available phone number. A contact reveal does not send a message. Neither purchase guarantees a response, representation, a trial or a contract.

Take time before committing

Understand who you are dealing with, what service is offered and what any agreement requires. Keep a copy of correspondence and get appropriate independent advice before signing an agreement you do not understand. A directory record and a technical email check do not establish trust or current licensing.
