What is a football trial?

A football trial is an assessment where an organiser evaluates a player's suitability for a team, academy or programme. “Soccer tryout”, “open trial”, “academy assessment” and “talent identification session” describe related opportunities, but their entry requirements can differ. Read the age group, programme type and application conditions before applying.

Find a trial that fits you

1. Choose a country and check the location and dates.
2. Match the age group, gender and level to your situation.
3. Check international eligibility. “Not stated” means you must ask the organiser, not that you are accepted.
4. Review the source check time and any organiser fees.
5. If you choose to purchase, register free and unlock one listing's organiser and application details for €20 EUR.

The €20 purchase buys information. It does not reserve a place, pay an organiser's participation fee or guarantee selection. Travel and other costs are separate.
